To Make an Outside Call

-Pick up handset; choose a line (if You Have Lines appearing on your phone), or, dial 9 (if you have Call Appearance buttons). Dial the area code, and the phone number. Hang up to release the call.

Transferring A Call – In Office

-While on the line, press transfer button and either dial the person’s extension, or their programmed button on the phone. Hang up to release the call. 

To change how intercom calls signal your extension (ring or Handsfree)

Press the speaker button or lift the handset, Dial 723 to have calls ring your extension or Dial 721 to have calls voice announce to your extension

Directed Call Pick up

- From any telephone Dial ** followed by the ringing extension's number

Distinctive Ringing:

-Dial 720 followed by 1 for Internal ringing, or 2 for external ringing. 

-Dial the ring tone number desired 1-8. 

-Press Speaker to accept the tone.

Last Number Redial

- Press the Redial Button several times (The System stores up to 10 numbers dialed). When you see the number you want to Redial, Pickup the Handset or press the Speaker Button.

Quick Transfer to a Users Voice Mailbox 

-Press Transfer, then dial the Extension number or press a pre-programmed button for desired Extension, dial 8 and hang up to send the caller direct to the dialed Mailbox.

Call Park

-Press the Call Park button on your phone, dial an available parking space number 01 ~ 64

- If manually parking a call, press transfer #6 followed by the parking space number 01 ~ 64.

Call Park Retrieve

-Press the Park Retrieve button on your phone, dial Parking Orbit you were told 01~64, or if manually retrieving, dial *6 followed by the parking orbit number 01 ~ 64.

Transferring A Call to an Outside Line (off-site)

-While on the line, press transfer button and dial 9, then the telephone number, Hang up. (Or announce the call and then hang up.) If your Tel Lines appear on your phone, press Transfer, choose another Line, dial the telephone number, announce call, and then hang up. Or..... If you have Centrex or Local Link lines, you may (with the first caller on the line) press the "Recall" button, wait for a second dial tone, dial the transfer destination number, after the person answers you may announce the call then hang-up, or simply wait for ring-back tone and hang up. This method will free-up your lines.

Making an Internal Conference Call 

-When call is in progress, press ‘Conf’ key (Below display) then dial the extension number of desired individual (or press their programmed button) wait for pick up, announce call, press Add, Press Begin.

Making an External Conference Call 

-Repeat above instructions, but instead of extension number, dial 9, the area code, the phone number, and then press ‘Add, press “Begin”

Volume Control

-Volume Control operation is subject to the current state of the telephone:

LCD Contrast (when phone is at rest)

Ringing volume (while the phone is ringing)

Speaker volume (while the phone is off hook via speaker)

Handset volume (while the phone is off hook via handset)

Background Music

-Speaker 725 to activate or deactivate (if your system has a Background music source)

Voice Over

When calling a busy station, if you have an important announcement to make, you may press "6" while hearing the busy tone, this will allow you to give a private message to the extension you dialed. If the called extension needs to answer back, a button is required. Programming a button: Press the speaker button, dial ‘751’, press Voice Over designated button, dial ‘48’ after hearing confirmation stutter tone (sounds like a very quick busy signal). Press speaker again to hang up. Voice Over button is now programmed and can be used to reply to a Voice Over call.


To Change the display Name on an Extension

- Press the Speaker button, dial 700, press the hold button, then spell out the name on the dial pad, press hold again to store the information, and then hang up, use “FEATURE” key to back up (correct mistakes), # sign to advance cursor when next letter falls on same number.

To Program a Headset Button

- Press the speaker button, dial ‘751’, press headset designated button, dial ‘05’ after hearing confirmation stutter tone (sounds like a very quick busy signal). Press speaker again to hang up. Headset button is now programmed.

To Program an Extension to a Designated Button 

1-Press Speaker,

2 Dial 751, 

3 Press Line Key button to be programmed

4 Dial 01, 

5 Dial digits of desired extension

6 Press the ‘Hold’ button

7 Hang up. 

If there are repeat keys to program do not hang up, repeat step 3 until completed. When complete, press the speaker button to hang up.

To Program a One touch Speed dial number to a Designated Button 

1 Press Speaker,

2 Dial 751, 

3 Press Line Key button to be programmed

4 Dial 01, 

5 Dial 9 Plus Tel. Number, (1XXX-XXX-XXXX)

6 Press the ‘Hold’ button

7 Hang up. 

If there are repeat keys to program do not hang up, repeat step 3 until completed. When complete, press the speaker button to hang up.

One Touch Operation Button Assignment

Dial 751

Press the button to be programmed.

Dial the code for the desired feature:

·Do Not Disturb: 03

·Call Record: 78

· Park: 01, #6

·Park Retrieve: 01,*6

·Call Pickup: 24

· Delete button: 00

Press Hold

Press Speaker

To Program Personal Spd Dial Numbers (0-9): 

Press Down arrow, then PROG Soft button (Underneath Display, appears only when phone is idle), Press STA, SPD PROGRAM Will Appear, Dial first Binder “0” (SPD Will show on Display), Enter 9 Plus the Telephone Number as if you were dialing the number manually, Press HOLD, Spell Out the Name of the SPD Dial number, (Press Feature to correct mistakes, # to advance cursor if next letter falls on same number), Press HOLD to Save, If You want to continue, enter next SPD Binder 1,or 2, etc.

To Retrieve Personal SPD numbers

If Using Codes , Enter #7 followed by SPD Binder (0-9), If using Rolodex, press Dir Underneath Display (Soft button), Press STA, Spell out the name you assigned to the SPD , Use UP and DOWN Arrow buttons on Display to go to SPD number or Scroll, Once Located Pick up Handset or press Speaker button.

To Program System SPD Dial numbers (000-999)

(Please assign only one Person in your Organization to do this) Again Press Down Arrow, then Prog button on Soft buttons (Underneath Display, appears only when phone is idle), Press the Down Arrow , Press SYS, Enter SPD dial Bin (000-999), DO NOT DIAL 9, Enter the Number as if you were dialing the number manually, Press HOLD, Spell Out the Name  of the SPD Dial number, (Pres Feature to correct mistakes, # to advance cursor if next letter falls on same number), Press HOLD to Save, If You want to continue, enter next SPD Binder .

To Retrieve System SPD Dial Numbers

If You would like to use Codes, Enter #2 followed by SPD Dial Bin (000-999), ), If using Rolodex, Press Dir Underneath Display (Soft button), Press SYS, Spell out the name you assigned to  the SPD , Use UP and DOWN Arrow buttons on Display to go to SPD number or Scroll, Once Located Pick up Handset or Press Speaker button.

<To Check/verify a system speed dial number: press "Help" button followed by the Redial button,  followed by the 3 digit bin number>

Update/Change Time

 Locate Main Telephone Extension (Usually Reception Phone, or Manager/Owner’s) Dial "Speaker"728, Enter 4 digits in 24 Hr. Format, Press "Speaker" to Exit.<To view system time when on a call press the "exit" button>

Group Paging

Internal paging: pick up the handset, press the "InPg" soft button, press 1 on the Dial pad

External paging: pick up the handset, press the "ExPg" soft button, press 1 on the Dial pad

Both Internal and External: pick up the handset, press *10 on the dial pad


Voicemail (InMail Mailbox Users)


To check messages from a remote location

Dial your company number, when the auto-attendant answers, press # followed by your extension number, the system will ask you for your passcode and subsequently guide you with numeric options. If your company uses live answer, have reception transfer you into your own mailbox, when you hear your own greeting press #, then #___(ext. number)


To Delete a Security code, the greeting, messages or recorded name in a

personal voicemail box:

1. From any phone with Admin rights (Usually Reception)

2. Press the message button or "Vmsg" soft button

3. Enter security code if there is one

4. Dial 72 to access System Admin

5. Press SUBS soft button (below display)

6. Dial the extension number you want to change

7. Press the soft buttons in the display or 7 to delete the security

code.

To Change the Auto Attendant Main Greeting:

1. From any phone with Admin rights (Usually ext. 101)

2. Press the Message Button

3. Enter the Security Code

4. Dial 72 (admin Options)

You are now in System Administrator Menu

5. In the display press INSTR

6. When asked for the mailbox number. Dial 001 for Day Greeting* or 002 for

Night Greeting* (or use 008 for Holiday*)

7. In the display press REC to record your new greeting

*for most sites

To Use Answer Schedule Override (Holiday/Emergency Greeting):

1. From any phone with Admin rights (Usually ext. 101)

2. Press the Message Button

3. Enter the Security Code

4. Dial 72 (admin Options)

You are now in System Administrator Menu

5. Dial 6 (answer schedule override)

6. Enter 01 (table number)

7. Press the "Mbox" softkey and enter 008 (Holiday box)

8. Press ON or OFF to to turn the holiday greeting on or off.


Remove the flashing LED indication

If you find that your phone is flashing, yet you have no new messages, you may have an active message waiting set. To leave a message waiting indication: dial a busy or unanswered extension, press 0, hang up. This will leave an indication at both the sending and receiving phones. To cancel: from either phone, press "exit" (small button bellow screen) press "MW", press "ALL"
